Some of BC’s own dairy farmers are featured as part of BC Dairy Foundation’s Real Cream campaign. The campaign focuses on the local and natural qualities of cream made in BC, and reminds consumers ‘Buy Local. Eat Natural. Real Cream’. The www.cookingwithcream.com website features photos and personal stories of local dairy farmers: the Vanderkooi, Van Keulen, De Groot, Hoogendoorn and DeJong families. These profiles remind consumers that cream is being produced close to home by real people, so they can feel good about buying it. The website also contains over 40 recipes and videos demonstrating delicious recipes that use cream.
